In 2011, the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Winspear Centre moved to Tessitura, a CRM, ticketing, and fundraising system for arts and culture organizations. Eight Leaves successfully managed that project for the ESO. We then went on to develop an online ticketing system that integrated directly with Tessitura. We deployed the site on Amazon EC2 to reduce the ESO’s IT footprint and to accommodate the traffic spikes that accompanied on-sales for popular shows. Eight Leaves also developed additional features such as cross-sell, dynamic pricing, and patron development: powerful tools that the ESO can use to effectively manage inventory and grow its audience.
The ESO ticketing site is deployed on Amazon EC2. Patrons can use the responsive, easy-to-use interface to quickly purchase available seats for all upcoming events. The secure site can scale on demand to handle high-volume spikes associated with on-sales for popular concerts.
Concert seats are perishable inventory. We built promotions management tools (cross-sell, bundling, dynamic pricing) directly into the ticketing system to help ESO staff maximize revenue for every seat in the Winspear Centre.
Developing new audiences and donors is critical for the continued success of the ESO. We built a powerful set of segmentation and targeting features to help ESO staff grow the donor base in the long term as well as sell tickets in the short-term.
We developed a cloud-based ticketing and patron management system to help the ESO build new audiences and sell more tickets. What can we do for you?
